Greatest Niner MBB Players

Yes Maxwell could not do it alone. Lee Massey, Kevin King, and don’t forget Chad Kinch.

Henry was best I ever saw here, followed by Johnson, Dinkins, withers, Maxwell (not a fan of his me attitude),

Plus Jeff Gruber on the FF team and Bob Ball and Sheldon Shipman on the NIT runner-up team. Definitely the best run for the Niners during the back-to-back Bill Foster and Lee Rose eras.

Not the best player I saw or even the best shooter but the most clutch shooter I’ve seen play is Diego. I don’t know if there is a shooter we have had that hit as many clutch shots as he did. Game on the line and needing a 3 I want him taking it.

Think I would take Henry or Dink before Diego.

No doubt they were both amazing players. It might just be they lacked the opportunities Diego had as far as opponents go.

Diego was also the best at pissing off the opposition :kissing_smiling_eyes:

Never met a shot he wouldnt take !

Graduated in 88 so I’ve seen a lot. Henry was my fav but White probably had the best next level talent. He only played a little over half a year so I’ll go with Henry.

Basden and Withers were awfully good too. If Withers had better hands he mighta had a 12 yr NBA career. That said if had better hands he might not have came here, lol.

Dinkins was good, very good. Trust me I played against him and dude was quick on quick.

BUT, you got to go withMaxwell, not many schools have a NBA Finals mvp, we do.

With almost all of our great players (besides White and Maxwell) if they were 2" taller, they might have had an NBA career. Jarvis, Demarco, Withers, Henry, Basden. Henry could have had a career in the right situation, see Seth Curry. But he opted for a bigger payday and longer contract over seas.

Or played in todays NBA.

clt says plavich can hit any shot needed
