Dusters streak at 2nd half 4:00 TO with signs that read simply ā€œFIRE JUDY!ā€ ?

I can assure you that even with a protest there is still no way that Judy retires. She’s here for as long as she wants to be here. She will only retire when we all believe that she’ll never retire so she can try to prove for the last time that she’s smarter than all of us internetters.
I get what some here feel and say. However, I don’t look at my team as a ā€œproductā€, commodity, stock investment, or company. I look at them as family trying to do the best they can. So I will support them regardless, and attend games at home with the season tix I’ll always buy for as long as I am able. That’s me, and I respect anyone else being you.
Wow. Its almost like you view the team as actual human beings. Very unusual and commendable attitude in the context of this board.

Most accurate thing written at NNN in a while.

Guess what though? She has to live (and take to the grave) her legacy of being one of the worst ADs ever, and unequivocally destroying a consistent top 60 men’s basketball program into nuclear winter.

Frankly, I can’t think of any team in NCAA history to fall like we have so fast.

Only thing worse would be what Katrina did to UNO

DePaul comes to mind.

DePaul is its own brand of dumpster fire for sure

I argue we have fallen further, faster, and lower than them. They are 5-3 now.

At least they landed in BE

At least Depaul sucks but still cashes in some decent checks from the BE.

I was also thinking Southern Illi, remember we used to have some pretty good games with them back in the day, they have been irrelavent about as long as we have now.

They made it to the second round in 07. We haven’t done that since I’ve been a fan. They are also 8-2

FWIW, I was bored and self loathing at work so

Everyone should email this to Judy.

She would think it was a knock on Mark. She wouldn’t understand it’s an expose on her body of work for men’s basketball.

PS, Im excited to have Price, but I’m still not sold. I REALLY REALLY hope he proves me wrong. Reading the excitement around here, and people talking like they KNOW he will turn the program around is stressful to me, because the same thing happened with Major. If you weren’t 100% behind him, you were a heretic, and look how that turned out.

PPS - Lutz still should have been fired, but only after we had targets on a solid replacement. I know, I know, Judy has a list.

Outside of Metro I don’t recall anyone crapping on Major out of the gate. I turned on him pretty early, but most gave him plenty of time - which is fair. I think some of the the biggest distinctions with Price are that he has a name where Major didn’t, he has had experiences that Major didn’t, he assembled his own staff and put a former HC on it where Major didn’t and he is working the media better than Major ever did. With that said similar to Major he lacks HC experiences and due to his focus on the NBA lacks the college game experience Major had.

I think it is fair to be worried or not sold on Price. We still dont know how good he can recruit or coach. Similar to Major at this point most people just have blind faith because that is all you can go on really.

I was OK letting Bobby go - was right for both side, but given how terrible Judy has managed things we should have just kept him. Team would probably be better and we would have saved some cash.

ā€œKenpom? Is that like pom poms?ā€

Those Rankings are incredible

What executive survives that in real world?

Why was attendance so bad in 1996? Seems like an odd data point. The rest make sense.

We were 14–15 in 1995–1996.

Correct me if I’m wrong, because I was like 7 then, but from what I can tell it looks like our attendance was more dependent upon how good we were back in the day - we just happened to be good more often than not. Whereas, now that we finally have become more of a traditional university/not commuter school, and have built up more of a steady following (or at least by 2000) we now suck.
