Didnât get an answer to this before, so Iâll try again! Is this the start of a new contract with Valpo? I cannot believe we would give them a 2 for 1!?!
Thanks, Mike!!! Hereâs the schedule with day of weekâŚ

NOTE TO SCHEDULE MAKER(S): NO MORE FRIDAY NIGHT GAMES IN NOVEMBER.
High school football playoffs are still going on. We have a hard enough time getting people there as is, and we donât need to compete with the NCHSAA playoffs. I will miss the home opener again should my high school make the 2nd round. :cuss: :argue:
Only two games on ESPN? Wasn't it only two or three seasons ago we were on ESPN five or six times?
We had several Sunday night games on ESPN2. CUSA no longer has the same contract with them and ESPN/ESPN2 did not carry Sunday night college basketball last year.
I just put up the schedule on the homepage (center, near bottom). Iâd like to have it closer to the top so itâs more accessible, but the only way to do that is to put it directly under the âWelcome Back âyour nameââ block. To do that, Iâd have to disable the âNew Posts Since Last Visitâ and âLatest Newsâ blocks. If you guys are content with where the schedule is at right now, then let me know. If youâd rather it replace the two blocks I just mentioned, then let me know as well.
One other option I have is to really scale down the size of the the block and put it over on the left side. However, to do so, Iâd have to pretty much eliminate the âTV and W/Lâ columns. And even then, I wouldnât be able to fit everything on one line. To get that info, Iâd have to set up a link under the schedule which would take you to another page with the additional info.
Basically, the format is going to look the best (at 1024x768 resolution) with it where I currently have it since the middle column is wider. Itâs just a matter of bumping it up higher (and bumping down/removing something else) or leaving it where it is.
And if anyone notices an error, please let me know. Was in a hurry and didnât really doublecheck it. Thanks!
Just a thoughtâŚwhy is Cincy @ Charlotte always an ESPN game and Charlotte @ Cincy is an ESPN+ at best? Well maybe not always but it was last year and this year I know for sure.
Anyway, we better have at least 9 wins going into 2005(I will give up a loss at Indiana and either @ Valpo or vs Bama). Our conference slate is brutal though, @ Marquette, UAB and Louisville. Memphis at home will be tough and we all know how well we play at St. Louis. Itâll be interesting, thatâs for sure. Are we finally mature enough to not loose to a team clearly worse than us? And are we good enough to go on the road and beat some of these teams? Itâll be fun, I could see us going 11-0 in the fall, but we could just as easily have 3 losses heading into conference play.
Only downside I see is that we will only have 2(maybe 3) home games against ranked teams. Itâs always great to see Halton rocking the capacity crowd, and unfortunately most donât come out unless we play a big name team.
Sure they canât wait to go to the Big East. They are tired of us handing their ass to them. If you canât beat 'em jump ship. Pitino is such a f%$#!* :tool:
I think we have two too many cream puffas on the sched. Long Beach, UNCA, and the Cable Car Clasic are RPI danger games. They will pull down our SOS for sure. Also not sure how Davidson will be this year so that game might also hurt our SOS. Of course I always like when we play at davidson since it is like having another home game.
I think we need to sweep the home games, win the cable car classic, and beat davidson to have a decent rpi and sos going into conference play. If we donât beat Alabama or Rutgers then we will need a win at Valpo or Indiana. (I really want a win at Indiana - we had our chance to own them but we blew it).
Also, Iâm still pissed about the pepsi classic loss to the Ragin Cajuns. That 7â tall fu$%#& with the greasy mullet got on my damn nerves! WE OWE THEM AN ASS KICKING. My wife thought he was the ugliest mens basketball player to ever grace halton arena.
Long Beach and UNCA should be clinics. That game up at UNCA last year was fun.
