Hey, we won!

Valpo’s announcer was lamenting on how it’s hard to compete with a team that makes so many three’s.

9 of 23 for 39%

LIGHTING IT UP BAYBEE!!!

9 of 23 for 39%

and how many did we attempt in the 2nd half?

So based on my calculations

We shot 50% from inside the arc
and 35.7% from outside the arc.

Balance.

Amazing what it will do when you don’t go 1-40 from the 3 point stripe.

Yea they kept talking about how we hit Low percentage shots (meaning 40 footers, off balance 3’s (EJ), and three’s with people right in your grill (Lee & DA).

great news!

does this mean we’re a bubble team again?

What a stat line for Ian (who started). Jeez…contribute SOMETHING. Surely you can grab a rebound or dish an assist or draw a foul in 20 MINUTES.

I think Bobby is trying to teach Carlos a lesson. I liked the move. I think Lee is a better PG than Carlos and is much more consistent. Lee runs the team better in the halfcourt. I think Coach should keep Carlos as a backup PG until he learns to run the offense.

I suggested Goldwire run the point at the beginning of the season. Carlos hasn't impressed me the few times I have seen him play. Having a freshman step in and run a team at this level can sometimes be a bit much to ask. He may be fine with experience, we shall see.

Accordig to the box Valpo had twice as many turnovers as us. Besides knocking down some FGs and FTs for a change, that was the big difference. Sometimes the team with the most attempts wins.

According to Dax, he would out hustle Stephon Curry in practice so get off ian’s case!!

a win in the wrong half of the bracket…wonderful…

I am happy for Lutz. Losing eats him alive, theres no doubt.

Carlos is a junior

I’m just happy that we won. Anyone else trying to not think of anything but that we won? That’s my goal.

Well, we could think about the way the team played together the whole game, the fact that they are improving, and that we are still undefeated in A10. Plenty of positives.

Well said and very true. As much as these out of conference games are important, the real nucleus of our season is the A-10 games, and we haven’t lost a single one of those yet.

I bet you won’t be able to make that same statement 2 games into the A10 season.
