I don’t mind the old Norm image being used sometimes, but it is unidentifiable on TV. We need something large to show up on TV. Like the simple pick axe.
This. I don’t mind old school Norm as a logo. But we can’t complaing about the C-49ers logo being too busy for football helmets in one breath and then praise the old school Norm as great a moment later.
Also, I think the full-color Norm logo on a black helmet was a bad idea. Still waiting to see White C-pick on those matte black helmet with chrome-green facemasks. Would have looked really sharp with the white tops and black pants.
If you’re going to do Old Norm logo it needs to be like the one in my avatar:
Something that can actually be seen by human eyes from more than 3 yards away.
