It’s almost August so I will pose the question now…Assuming no significant injuries, how far will our men’s basketball team go this year? No walking the fence with “well, they CAN go…”

Mr. “Polemaster” where is the no clue choice? I have no freaking clue what we will do. I don’t know how good these guys will be. We’ve got Leemire and DA so I know we will be pretty good, but I don’t know about the recruits. I will know after our first few games tho. I knew after our Pfiefer game we sucked.

Mr Bob, you also forgot the options of going to NCAA even though we don’t win the conference. I hope you are not suggesting that the A10 will from now on be a one bid league.

Though not really an option in the poll, I vote for “top 5 (likely 3-5) finish in the A-10 with definite NIT birth but possible NCAA bid if we gel early and stay injury-free.”
Please just don’t let us have the kind of start of the season that we did last year…
Honestly, the only thing I feel comfortable in predicting at this point:
I think we’ll have much higher scoring games this year… on both sides.
It should make games more exciting.
Yeah, I’d go with top 4, NCAA birth if it was an option. I don’t think we’ll be A-10 champs but have a shot at making the tournament if Xavier, UMASS and GW are as strong as I think they are.
This year will be a transition year. NIT-bound.
We will have somewhat of a scattered team, with young, old, transfers, etc.
07 - 08 will be the begining of a good era - especially if we end up getting Beasley.
Remember in 07 - 08 we are playing Wake at home, and Syracuse away. We are also hosting the Sweet 16 here at the Bobcats Arena. What HUGE potential 07 - 08 has. I think that somewhere between the 07 - 09 seasons we will see a Sweet 16.

I was on suicide watch for like 2 weeks after the WF game. I mean that just killed me. I still get a little bummed when someone talks about it.
