The nice thing about playing at their place, is we can turn it into a home advantage for us!
I just think we have “outgrown” playing at their place. We are a pretty decent program and don’t really need to play at a small gym anymore. We are expected to win so we have nothing to gain, will not help recruiting, etc.
I understand they are in the same county and are Div 1, but they are Southern conference.
Just my opinion.

I enjoyed going to their gym…nice campus…nice small gym…and easier to get back to winston.

Unfortunately some of the gyms in the A-10 are smaller than Davidson’s and not nearly as nice.
I think playing Davidson at their place is a good test against a well coached less athletic team that plays hard and smart. It is a good situation because it is an away game but close enough to home to have plenty of fans travel and not tire the team out from travel.

Yeah, I started to yell no on that 35-40 ft hoist, but he shut me up. He is such a streak shooter, I’ve never seen someone catch fire that quickly. I was a little disappointed our defense didnt step up in that stretch and we were just outscoring them, but Plavich really wrecked their confidence. The Davidson student section (if you can call it that) just had their arms in the air saying “what can we do with this guy”?
