Dude, you do remember the year we fired Lutz the only player he had signed was some short PG that didn’t even get minutes at some floriday school right?
I agree it’s not looking awesome but it’s not like it’s next August or something.

True. However I give that year a pass b/c we changed coaches. Unless something has happened Major is still our coach, so I see no reason why he can not find us at least one C or PF by now.

He uses his powerful frame to establish position in the paint area where he displays his solid drop step move. His soft hands allow him to snag rebounds in his area and he has a high motor. Dauda is still quite raw on the offensive end, but defensively he recovers quickly in transition and is one of the better shot blockers I’ve seen this summer.
October, 2009: The Miami commit showed why he will be one of the top players in his class nationally with consistent high level play throughout the day (Adidas Superstar Showcase). He is a tenacious rebounder who pursues balls out of his area. He has the rare skill of going after balls with two hands off the rim. Ismaila is a fierce competitor who runs the floor every possession while challenging every shot in the paint. He showed his athleticism several times while tip dunking balls out of transition. His skill level will continue to improve to catch up with the rest of his game. He has very good hands for a post player of his size who can catch in transition and finish above the rim. February, 2009: Ismaila is a true center who runs the floor very well for a young big man. Right now he’s strictly an inside scorer who gets his points on put backs and tip ins. He possesses good touch and good hands. He’s a decent rebounder at this point but he needs to improve in this area given his size. What attracted the Miami coaches to him is his tremendous upside. Ismaila is a very good athlete for a developing big man and someone to keep an eye on. He should climb the rankings as he gets older and more experienced.
His latest video shows some pretty decent post moves. A couple times, while facing the basket, he starts right then spins all the around to his left and pulls up to hit the short jumper. Nice!

Given the update my thought would be the Center Juco they have listed instead is who we landed, Roberto Asencio.
Not really thrilled about either development, but oh well.

This article says Dauda wants warm weather, that Arkansas is too cold. Strange that he would narrow it to Marshall and Cleveland State.
