I’ve decided I’ll get excited about no one until after they are on campus and crack the rotation after proving they can play Sanchez’s pack line.

I’d love to know what the players think. Those from both revenue and non-revenue sports. How many want out, but not quite bad enough to sit a year? Unless any of us have faced that decision it’s hard to say how much of a deterrent that has been, nor do we actually know if it would make as big a difference as some think to change things.
And to that end, Major had surprise transfers every season, I think. But when we’ve been competitive over the last 30 years, have we ever had an issue losing our best players to transfer? I find it hard to believe our best players would so easily leave the Sanchez program year in year out the way some think.

Watch streaming on my iPhone Jackson Threadgill and his Davidson Day (30-1) Basketball team cruise to a state championship over Wayne country(26-6) 84 to 46. By my best count Thread Gil had 21 points in the first half and 30 points for the game. Look forward to him in 49er green

Can you give some thoughts on his game from what you saw today?
He is on a team full of good shooters so he Is fortunate to get as many points that he does. He shoots the three well from long range and drives the lane occasionally sometimes out of control. Often draws a foul when he drives the lane. He was accurately from the free throw line I think only missing one shot. He defended fairly well but was called for a few fouls. Overall he shows a well-rounded game full of potential. Can’t wait to see what Sanchez can do with him

Is the HS three point line the same as college? If not, something to think about and kids have to adjust to.
High school is shorter - 19’ 9" vs 22’ 1.75"
As I stated, he shoots the ball well from long range well behind the three-point line probably preparing for college
