The bar for what is enough will keep getting higher every year. Especially with the rest of the conference trying to keep up with Memphis and their FedEx money.

I agree, but for some reason they are giving them $5 million for the next 5 years anyway. That’s a big headstart on everyone else in the conference.
We have a group of alums very involved with the NILs. They tailgate with us, so while Biff and his people are involved, we have alums helping drive it. Coincidentally they are some of the same alums that had been driving facilities and evergreen donations.
I have no idea how much they’ve raised because when they tried to talk me into supporting it I was very vocal on my feelings, so we don’t discuss it now.
How are articles still saying we are entering our 10th season? It was wrong last year but understandable since it was the 10th anniversary but 11th season. The author of this article even says the stadium is 11 years old but still gets the age of the program wrong.

Did you notify Spanberg of the error? His email, phone# etc are readily available.
Anyway, I have lost count of how many times I’ve contacted writers etc about errors and not just Niner related. Most times things get fixed but will admit some don’t respond for whatever reason.

Confirms what we thought about this first phase costing more than the additional 3k to get to 21,000. I’m excited, wish it would be done quicker but we’d always want that regardless of the pace. 21k gets us to the absolute minimum which is good step.
BOT told me the initial pricing from architect was WAY off - so the initial ideas of what we could do for how much was wrong. Basically it is double from what they initially were told.

Do you think they’ll roll straight into the away side grandstand as long as money is rolling through? Would hate to look like JMU for an extended period of time.
As soon as I said I never wanted that, I realized it almost certainly locked in that eventuality. That’s how being a Niner fan works, right?

Why would you venture to say that?
I looked at what Healy had returning and shudder to think how we would have performed last season. Biff brought in quite a lot of talent but not much cohesion. I think he is on the right track with our players now. At least I hope so. Give him at least a couple more years and if we still suck, he goes.

Unless he’s bringing in a whole new offensive system this year, I simply don’t believe in his offensive philosophy in today’s game.

I’ve already heard him say they will be much less rigid in the run first mentality. Sounds like Miller will have more free reign to make calls and it will be alot closer to 50/50 than last year.
