I hate to say, but that is sad. 4 pics, one of an elevator lobby (to show we have elevators)? The back side of the tower would be nice for a…baseball stadium? Soccer? It looks odd and bland on the back.
One side has the open deck venue, but the other side doesn’t? Sigh. Whatever. Mike Hill cannot raise money. That is clear.
It’s probably going to be more impressive IRL than in the renderings.
Why didn’t they show the pics of the stadium expansion from above?
I wish football stadium expansion was being hyped more than just dropping some photos online. What about a hype video? Football expansion isn’t being shown anymore limelight than a non-revenue sports facility enhancement.
This thing will be massive in person. That’s 5 storeys tall and the press box will stretch from the 25-25 yard line with another 15 yards of seats on both sides. I would bet they are sitting on more expansion photos as well to continue to “tease” us for months to come as contruction gets underway.
The brick finish on this will Match the rest of campus really well and looks tremendously better than some of our league mates.
ECU and USF have gone into tremendous debt for both of their facilities past and present and I would argue that both of them have a pretty crappy exterior appearance. FAU is awful.

Because I enjoy pictures, this is how the field side will compare to some of the more modern facilities in the league.
We also will keep the press box that is currently in place below the stand which will probably have a pretty cool appearance from field level. It will make the stadium look much more imposing than the seating numbers imply.

I do agree that we are very good at trickling out good news.
The opposite is typically true. The renderings really fancy up the shitty value engineering most projects end up getting…and with all the inflation since this project budget was announced, I suspect this will get more value engineering than normal.
I’m not saying it’s going to look like shit or anything, I just have a feeling it’s going to be pretty bland.
If we are 10 - 2 it will look pretty damn good to me everytime I walk in!!
They posted 4 unimpressive photos because this is an unimpressive expansion. How many years talking up an expansion, and this is all they plan to expand now, or later? Who knows with Mike Hill?
From what I’ve read the USF financing is extremely problematic.
Call me old fashioned but I like the fact that we have to be more financially prudent than other programs.
