Karen Aston Resigns

She’s crazy

even if she gets the Texas job she’ll end up getting her panties in a bunch and leave

I wonder how many Texas students will drive nine hours to America’s Asshole to watch her team play…

Slow news day I guess

According to Alston, we have “bad fans”.

Karen Aston Takes Texas HC Position

Guess she made a positive career move by ditching us and N. Texas.

Article moved.

I really do wish her good luck in the Texas job. She kind of screwed us over but at the end of the day she was a good coach and left our program in good shape. However she had better save her money because if she fails there I think that she may find the bridges she burned getting there will make it hard for her to step back a level and get another job, and there is no market for her to do TV work like fired men’s coaches.

You don’t think she could be a WNBA analist on Logo? ;D

Yeah but at the same time she eliminated her own usage as a proxy against our Athletic Department. Fortunately Pat Kelsey is filling that role now.

She"ll be Ok. She can retire and do charity work after Texas.

Last three women’s coaches are now at Miami, Florida, and Texas. Rose has a pretty good eye for coaches overall. Soccer coaches and golf coaches seem to move up the ranks as well.

Our last men’s head coach we fired just made it to the sweet 16.

Yeah, & Meier just got an extension from Miami.

We should charge residuals.

Or up our buyout clauses.

I started a thread a few weeks ago about FORMER COACH Lutz and it was moved from the Basketball Forum to a different forum. Why was this thread about a FORMER COACH not also moved?
