Kenyan Harmon - 2007

I’ve confirmed that his last name is indeed spelled Harmon. The roster at Patterson was incorrect.

Thats sad when the institution you go to, can’t spell your name properly.

Is recruiting nerveracking or what. Wowzers. Come to Charlotte Kenyan!

http://charlotte.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=552250 Good Report from NR, We’re #1! We’re #1! Says he’ll be up for a visit in the future.

Yay! He likes Moxley. Good stuff. He will be a lock when he visits campus next semester and see this “big school”.

He talks about going to a camp this summer. See which one (shoe co) he chooses and you’ll know which school he is headed to.

Sounds like a conspiracy theory…

Shoe companies own players

do we have anything to do with nike?
do we have anything to do with nike?
They make our jerserys

and shoes? and socks? and shorts? and warm ups? that would be funny if reebok sponsored our shorts, nike the jersey’s and adidas did our shoes

There is more of the article at http://charlotte.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=552250, but here is the most important part…

Since reopening his recruitment Oklahoma and Kansas State have jumped on the Harmon bandwagon, but Harmon contends that the Niners sit atop his list.

“I might just go to Charlotte, but right now there’s a lot going on so I don’t know,” he said. “I’ve got to think about a lot. I don’t know if I’m going to Nike, Reebok or Adidas this year or NBA Camp next week. I’ve got to decide on that too. But Charlotte is on top for me, and I’ll probably get down there when school starts up again.”

Huggins is a gimp. He must subscripe to Rivals and see who we’re after to decide who he’s going to recruit.

Makes me want to

I think I am turning into a ABKS fan.

New update.

“Arizona, Connecticut, Auburn, Kansas State and Oklahoma are recruiting me pretty hard,” said Harmon. "These are the schools that really want me right now. I am going to wait until the fall before I make a decision about what schools to visit officially.

“I do know that Miami-FL is one school that I would like to visit,” he added. “I am pretty much open to visiting any school that offers me a scholarship. I am open to anybody right now.”

There was a time when Harmon, the No. 118 ranked player in the class of 2007, was all but set to attend Charlotte. However, after thinking about the decision, the three-star prospect decided to reopen his recruitment.

Harmon made it perfectly clear that Charlotte is still the team to beat for his services.

“Charlotte is still my No. 1 school right now,” said Harmon. "They are definitely still at the top of my list. They are going to be tough to beat when I am ready to make my decision. Oklahoma is another school that I really like.

Glad we’re still on top but after what’s happened with some other commits it’s hard to believe he’d reopen his recruitment and still heavily favor us. I’m glad he’s mentioning us in every article.

It makes sense to me. Benny Moss took a new job. We’d have to re-establish a rapport with him with either Cheeks or Moxley. So happens it’s Moxley in his case. Normally (see Beasley and Tatum) you lose the guy outright until there was a special reason he came here in the first place, like a local product. Harmon’s situation really makes me like the guy should he finally sign an LOI here. We’ve lost a coach and he’s being courted by some big names but still maintaining us as his leader.
