Just another interesting point, not related to our new AD, Clemson has been a really good football program!
Became great when they landed two suburban Atlanta QBâs! Being able to go into Atlanta and landing those guys was key.
Their soccer program knocked ours out of the NCAA tournament a couple of times during his tenure.
Iâm still a little bit butthurt about it. Love beating them when we get a chance, though itâs difficult.
Clemson softball was a startup wasnât? I know womenâs lax was and it has gone up the polls much like Clemson softball.
Clemson hired softball coach John Rittman in 2017 and began play in 2020.

I try not to judge until I see the product. Not sure Iâve ever been excited about a football recruit and not sure Iâve been excited about a hoops recruit in about 20 yearsâŚ.

I guess it really doesnât matter but if you announce a new AD shouldnât the press conference be within 48 hours? Shouldnât the new AD already be doing the media rounds by now?
Kinda wonder if it was planned for Thursday and leaks forced the need for an official announcement earlier than wanted.
