White seems like a genuinely nice guy. He came across well in his news conference, too. But Charlotte 49ers fans are going to move beyond the honeymoon period quickly and want to know what White is going to do right now.

I think I would be more excited about the experience he developed at northwestern and smu than what he did in Clemson given Charlotteās challenges. I know Clemson has had some challenges in the NIL landscape compared to other P5 programs but that could all be due to dabo not wanting to adapt. Should be interesting to see what White has in store.
Daboās issue has been his reluctance to employ the transfer portal. NIL funds are more than adequate in Death Valley.
The best thing we can take from his time at Clemson are the connections he has to donors in the Charlotte region that he can bring here. Our city loves some Tigers football
