LA Tech postgame
They flew to Hattiesburg on Wed for the S Miss Thursday game, then on to Ruston for La Tech and then back Sat night. Swierad said they had to get to the Charter flight in postgame. The Thursday-Sat schedule, location of back to backs and a Charter flight makes a lot of sense.

This plane has changed tail numbers, but same plane…

Chartered flights make sense given the scheduling. I actually think the CUSA scheduling was a big part of our poor performance on the road our first year. Team just didn’t look right on the road, especially the 2nd game of the trips.

I think WVU experienced something similar when they moved to the Big 12.

Im not in love w/ Thurs/Sat schedule. I understand it, and realize it wont change, but I miss Wed/Sat. I’d even prefer Tues/Sat.

Just too much time between games after the Saturday game, especially if its a mid day one.

If Price can bring in some better talent, continue to run this system, and play the way we’ve been playing we could be scary good in future years.
My only concern will be team chemistry, when we recruit over our current freshman. What happens when a guy that’s playing now is not getting much time as
as junior? How does his classmate responds to that?

They transfer. I would hope Price is telling everyone the best play and not promising anything to anyone. If we lose some kids due to playing time I can live with that. Hopefully we can put an end to the top 7 or 8 transferring on a regular basis.

White looks like he could be really good. Davis and Scott both look solid. I suspect they should all get decent minutes through their career here. Healthy competition builds a stronger teams.
