i will take the bait. watching that actually made me miss bobby a bit. no doubt, bobby gave better pre-game speeches than major but did his team really do those things he talks about in the video? i wish major gave speeches with that sort of passion but it takes more than that to get execution. that looks like it was right before an a10 tournament game. i dont believe we won that game but i get the point you are getting at. i think we would all like major to coach with more passion.

Views on youtube? You miss the point. Its not irrelevant how you speak to major media. A wccb mic is in his Majors face, and the Lutz vid was on tv - not youtube.

There are some things we cannot change…but some we have to if we even want to have hope of becoming relevant again.
I just think he sets the bar so low,in terms of scheduling…what he expects of his team…and himself…He sounds like a guy who thinks he’s doing a pretty good job.I think that in essence is what frustrates me the most.
Yeah, can’t say I had any problem with the presser. He spoke about Cherry because he was asked about Cherry. He gave answers, or atleast tried to. I’m sure some are still wanting him to own losses, and I think that has a time and a place in a postgame presser, but not mid-week. You have to rid yourself of that negativity and get your mind right for the next game.
I’m with Hootie. There’s plenty of reasons to want this guy gone, but that presser isn’t it. So he made an analogy that some didn’t like (or get possibly?), boo hoo. Again, there are substantial things to grab on to for not wanting him here, don’t delude your argument by going after something like this.
Also, bringing the Bobby video is apples to oranges. One is a mid week presser, the other is a marketing commercial for the guy. Good grief.

Missing the point???
He’s 58-61 lifetime. He’s 14-12 in his 4th season. He’s never been to the NCAAs and won’t go this year. He has 1 NIT and no wins. His record in Feb is worse than his overall record.
Calling this a nail in the coffin is crazy when his on the court results are so bad. What possibly at this point do I care about his interview skills?
I’m a niner fan and I don’t care about these videos. What am I going to hear? It’s 3 minutes of guaranteed coach speak. I imagine you don’t even watch these videos for anything intelligent to come of them, rather to poke at them. So what’s the point. And why would anyone care about what a sub 500 coach has to say?
Have you ever heard Everett Withers speak? It’s literally like Bubba Blue is talking to you about football. If the guy wins, nobody will care what he sounds like. If the guy loses, they’ll care to the extent to use it against him.
ID, SF- you cannot “win” or build a program if you conduct yourself like Major in public. Its that simple. Enthusiasm matters. It helps rally alum, giving, tickets. Which leads to louder arena and wins. Then kids wanna be here. Its all connected.
