i am guessing mo mo jones, decommitted from Louisville recently.

We want MO MO MO!

I thought Mo Mo at first too. But aren’t we looking for this season? Mo Mo wouldn’t be until next year. I’m guessing it’s Ben Mockford if its for this season.

Momo is a C/o 2009 prospect. We couldn’t possibly looking for this season, school has already started…

But, Momo is listed as a shooting guard.

My bet is, it isn’t a 2009 prospect, but a 2010 prospect in PG Bryon Allen (DC Assault).

Nope, he’s a PG. From his writeup on the Oak Hill site:
Mo Mo is from Harlem, New York. He is the Warriors only true point guard. Mo Mo has great court vision, excellent ball skills, and good leadership qualities. He also might be the best shooter on the team this year. Mo Mo will be expected to lead the Warriors as they tackle the nation’s toughest schedule on the high school level. He hopes to add his name to the long list of great Oak Hill point guards. Mo Mo is the son of Ms. Janeen Fuller of NYC.
where did this come from? some lead? I think I’m missing something…

why are we talking about college hoops on here? i thought this was a political message board.

Definitely for 2009 (next season) for our remaining scholarship for 09.

Yes, Jimmy posted it after attending one of the alumni events in which he talked to someone in the know.

Friends with Braswell, apparently.

Rivals 3 Star Recruit: http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=57355

Has some big names looking at him, would be a great land.

This kid can play. Video: http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/video.asp?section=bbrecruit&pkey=57355&vidtype=prospect&vidid=115821

From the clip, his game reminds me a lot of Demon Brown.

Seems to like to drift on his shot. Someone teach him to set himself.

Would be a good get if he can handle the point some.

He is a Point guard who can shoot it. I didn’t see drifting other than one shot where he was going to his left. He has an excellent jumper and looks like a legit bigtime PG based on the Rivals video clip. Very impressive.

Would be an outstanding class of 2009: Sherrill, Braswell, Jones. :49ers:

Ht: 5-foot-11
Wt: 170 lbs
Shooting: Good
Handle: Outstanding
Passing: Outstanding
Strength: Developing
Class: 2009 (High School

Definitely Lamont “Mo Mo” Jones.

He sure missed out on his nickname. Why not Lamont “Mojo” Jones? The Niners can always use some good mojo.
