How about I share my opinion and personal feelings whenever I please instead? If you don’t like the criticism of Lutz, who deserves it this season, then go find a place where you don’t have to read it.
And for the record, I’ve never been critical of Bobby “the guy.” But being a great guy doesn’t equate to winning games or being a great coach and most people here are tired of losing.

Guess your green tinted glasses keep you from being objective or seeing that Bobby isn't the 2nd Coming you make him out to be.
And this just in: This is a messageboard for 49er fans to comment on, discuss, vent about and praise the program, players and coaches. It’s not a place where everyone shares the same, positive, upbeat and optimistic feelings that you do. Again, if you are offended with criticism of Bobby, then don’t read it. Pretty simple.

I was a little late, but when I came in he was talking about how good UMass is. Their big man is 2nd in the nation in blocks, he said he is going to break Camby’s school record which is pretty impressive. Also mentioned a UVA transfer and a guy who was all-freshman A10 last year. I think he said they are the most talented team we have left coming into Halton this year (maybe all year).
Talked about the signed players for next year. Said Gerrity will be a big help, as will Jones. Then talked about Wilderness reminding him of Eddie as far as their games in high school. Also mentioned there is one scholarship left, they are looking for the right guy.
He likes Field of Dreams and Hoosiers.
DA and Carlos are both banged up and have missed practices, both should play Sunday.

I don’t think you’ll hear anyone say Bobby isn’t a great guy. I used to think he could coach, but now I think he just had enough talent to cover up the fact that he couldn’t. Since he is an alumnus, and since he is passionate, and since he is such a good guy, I really, really want to like him but he’s not making that easy.
