Wow----you talk about a warped sense of reality. Those Davidson people are in their own world. Too much to laugh at to actually post over there. It would take about a dozen posts or more just to address the ridiculous amounts of wrong assertions.
I canāt say that I blame them for never wanting to play us again.
Iād get sick and tired of the losing, too. We beat them 19 times from '87-'07 (the final match-up).
edit: we beat them in '86, too. So 20 times from '86-'07.
Those fans are off their rocker. Do that have a clue about how the series ended? Or about their all-time record against us? I was not a big fan of resuming the series - but after reading all that garbage I think I am OK with beating their sorry asses some more.

Davidson fans are delusional and, for the most part, elitist pricks. Now that Curry is gone, nobody will care about them and they will disappear back into the ranks of the low-majors.
I do love playing them though, because even though we lead the series by a big margin, they are the closest thing we have to a rivalry. And I love the name calling and smack talking and jabbing that goes on between our fan bases.

not to mention just the concept of having scholarship football means that as soon as we suit up for our first game we automatically eclipse their entire program.
I for one am glad that they are willing to once again be our punching bags. If thatās how they need to psyche themselves up for the inevitable beatdown, then more power to them.

Thank about it we did beat them when Stephen Curry was consider in the peak of his college career, along with Duke and UNC-CH!

Those guys are world class at doing the dirty little things that refs canāt see. Itās almost like they are coached to cheat. Kinda makes you think, does it not? Also, whoever thinks Davidson always holds their basketball recruits to the same academic standards as the general student population is seriously naive. Not saying Davidson isnāt a fine institution and they donāt have some really good fans, but they, like us or any other school, need to view their athletics realistically. Pot, Kettle.
I could not care less whether we play them or not. Just another name on the schedule to me. However, people need to stop trashing McKillop- heās a quality coach that 90% of the schools would love to have. They actually are the best coached team we play year to year, IMO.
Back on the TWCA thing, I would love to play all comers uptown- twice a year max though.
And if some have a issue with the $7.00 beers, $7.00 beers beats no beer all day every day and twice on Sundays.
