This report canāt be right because we had a source talk to an NC State SUPPORTER!!! The Supporter canāt be wrong!!
Why canāt JJās story be correct and the individual who spoke to the NC State supporter be correct.
Sometimes coaches who arenāt interested are either targeted or brought up for discussion as possible replacements for imminent vacancies.
These things DO happen.
Sometimes I think people on this board want it to be a sterile, happy-go-lucky place.

I never said I think he would choose to go to NC State or any other program, I just think he would certainly entertain offers because the A10 is a step in the wrong direction for this program.

Another inflammatory comment. This is what Iām talking about Mikey.
His daughter is in high school in the area, he just built a new house, heās an alum, I think he likes the challenge of building a program to national prominence, heās a UNCC fan, he seems to love the area, and he has the abillity to become a name that is synonamous(sp?) with a university (i.e. John Cheney=Temple).
At State he would still be under the shadow of the big 3, heād be under much more pressure to succeed, heād have to uproot his family, and he knows how disapointed I would be.
I think weāve got him for at least a couple more years. Also, when a coach plans on leaving, they usually deflect the queations about a new job. His comments are a pretty clear NO.
