It was listed in the ACC schedule in this morning’s Observer. Noon game, Bobcats arena, Jan 5th, Sat, ESPNU.
Thanks for the update. As for the Wake game, the tickets my wiofe won said Saturday Nov 29th originally. That’s where the confusion was. We weren’t sure about the time though.

Maybe in about five years we’ll have a lot of Saturday games at noon… in September and October.
I don’t much care for those games either, but it might be fun uptown. It gives us plenty of time to drink AFTER the game.

This is sad. If we can’t even get on tv playing against ACC opponents, then somebody isn’t doing their job. I’m sick of watching our team scores on the internet. ESPNU is not the ideal spot for our games. We should be ESPN around here if it is ACC, or at least ESPN 2, ABC, CBS, something. Damn!!

TWC is getting Espnu, on 08/31, so I can actually watch it! (Unless I get the Philippine job because I doubt they have Espnu.)
too bad the city of mooresville wont get their head out of their butt and let the people have TWC like they all wanted… but NOOOOO we have to get some BS company from out of virginia that no one wants so the city can make an extra buck.

EspnU is only gonna be on the Digital tier… so if there are any others out there whose wife does not recognize the value in having digital cable, just make plans to see the Niners on the U at your local establishment if you cannot make it in person.
Sub, I completely agree, but anybody from around here should be at the game in person anyway!! I get more pissed about the road games not being on TV.

Oh, I’ll be at the games here, but we are not playing all of our ACC games here. But not only am I speaking of watching the games, I’m talking about getting our school to national recognition. Beating an ACC team on National TV, especially Maryland, will do that, at least for a short while. That will get us more games on tv as well.
Have you ever gotten the dead silent treatment? By that I mean when you mention us playing an ACC team to a ACC fan and they don’t stay anything. Today, I was talking to my dad’s good friend (who’s a huge Carolina fan) and he was talking about today’s edition of the Observer’s coverage of the upcoming ACC schedule. He said he was looking foward to seeing Carolina play Davidson at the Bobcats Arena. So I mentioned that we are playing Wake and Maryland there as well. No response what-so-ever. Nothing, just a blank stare. NinerNation, you know what I’m talking about.

I had a similar expereience this past year. I told a story about camping out for Cincy tickets to a guy who went to Duke and he goes “oh you have to camp out for UNCC tickets??”

It might help if we would beat them when we have the few chances we get. We are 0-2 in our last games vs the acc. After the ones we have this year we’ll probably be 0-6. THAT, my fellow NINERS, will NOT get respect from acc fans or anybody. Just the blank stares of “so what?”, when this subject comes up.
