Men's soccer RANKED IN ALL MAJOR POLLS

Ranked anywhere from 15th to 25th. That was a really difficult schedule with a lot of tough ROAD games. Looking forward to the conference games.

Friday night 7:00 - GW
Sunday at 1:00 - Richmond

this.

That’s all good, but I want to know why we fell from #22 to #23 in the Soccer Times Poll. I am going to have a hard time choosing between Bible Study and the game on Friday ughh especially since I will miss the Sunday game due to work.

great to see the soccer team moving up – keep up the good work

go niners

What the heck…we beat GW 6-0 and tie a solid Furman team and drop out of the SA Top 25 (I know we were only 25th in that one, but come on)…and ironically Davidson gets in this week. I assume we’re still in most (if not all) of the other Soccer polls and hopefully ahead of those pu$$ycats.

Note: Of course the Big O had to highlight Davidson’s entry into the poll and the ACC teams in it AND with no mention of Charlotte dropping out…WOW!!! why am I still surprised/disappointed?

We actually tied Richmond, who was 3-7 coming into the match on Sunday.

Sorry, I meant Richmond.

We are now 13th NSCAA/adidas rankings.

And if anything is mentioned, I’m sure it’s in Jim’s “For Niners Only” blog. There’s no way they’re gonna spread the word to the general sports fan in Charlotte. This same **** happens in golf and baseball too.

Congratulations to the soccer program. The rest of the nation will at least take notice if we can keep winning.

just checked out st. louis. they could be a challenge!

the real problem is that our ladies played to a draw in crummy conditions at Dayton and are only 26th in the NSCAA/adidas poll, still 6 spots up on UD though.

This. We’re playing really well considering we have a new coach (although most of these girls have been together a while, so that helps tremendously).

Wilmington got a new coach too?

Small world

Beat St Louis at their place 2-1.

Haven’t lost in 11 games. Tied for 1st in the conference and will be ranked in the top 15 in all polls coming into a 2 game homestand this weekend. Friday and Sunday.

this is great news. let’s hope the observer does not omit us AGAIN when they do their next article on the ranked soccer teams in the state. it was a real pisser seeing them rant over number 25 davidson and not mentioning us.

is this the best team we’ve had since the mid 90s? st louis is usually no pushover.

this a week old by now, but still worth a listen…
