If he’s gone for an extended amount of time, might as well put in all the people who will be around next year so they will have a long time to play together to prepare for next year.
Why did we lose??
Because we have 2 players who shot 18 shots each and only made 33% of them. Thats why we lose. 25 3 pointers and only hit 6 of them. 2 players.
Granted Lee scored because he got fouled enough and hit his foul shots. However this is unacceptable. Every other player on the team had a good shooting night. EJ shot 4-9, 3-3 on FTs and had 12 points. Ian shot 3-8 and scored 9. Carlos shot 4-8 and scored 9.
True our big guys played like crap, but when our best player takes more shots than points he scores we are going to lose.

Wonderful! Can we just let Carlos Williams run the team? With everyone injured, he might be exciting to watch.
Bottom line is that were just not that good. We shot 40 3’s tonight out of our 70 field goals attempted. Only 2 players got to the foul line. We have no Center’s on this team. Ony 1 servicable big man in EJ. Our 2 best players shot 6-25 from the 3pt line.
Will be lucky to win any game with those type of stats.
This is getting to the point of embarassment. If you can find me a D-1 basketball team that wins games shooting 25+ 3pg I would love to know who it is. As if last year wasnt bad enough, now we shoot 37 3’s a game. Its down right laughable. I have been following the program since 1990, when I 14 years old, and quite frankly im disgusted with the culture of our program. I am not a Lutz hater, I think he is fantastic coach, and I have defended him alot, but you cant defend a coach that lets 37 three point attempts become the norm. Not to mention we consistently have two players take 10-15 threes a game each. Its absurd. Indefensible. I would play a bench player before I let guys take 12 threes a game. And I would rather watch the walkon’s play at this point. I also think the Phaler and Dewhurst are a joke. The fact that those dudes get legit playing time is really sad, and speaks volumes about the state of our program.
Might as well put EJ at the 5 for now. Our “5’s” tonight went 30 minutes with 1 rebound and no points.
EJ will be completely worn down by conference play.

They shot 35 free throws in the 2ND HALF! just the 2nd half!!! that is horrible!!
