NCAA Transfer Rules

I don’t have “dad” eyes. I recognized my kids talent, or lack thereof in some cases, but I know a shit ton of people who think their kids are the best players on the planet. Hell I actually have had a few turn on me when they asked me what I though about their kids abilities, future, etc and I answered honestly. And I was actually nice about it, but it didn’t matter.

One guy asked me if I thought his son could play SS in college. I told him I thought he could play OF or perhaps 2B but not SS and you woulda thought I hit him with a brick. Guess what, the kid played 2B at UNCA.

People are crazy sometimes and blow smoke up kids asses and give them false expectations, it’s unreal

If this is really the case I hope we get multiple FBS transfer QB’s on the team for next year, seems like a supply and demand issue.

So where did the 41% come from?

Just guessing, but I know that 41% number includes walk-ons too, which makes sense. I don’t know how they classify grad transfers, but that could lower the percentage as well

Maybe they meant fbs to fbs transfers. And of course grad transfers and guys who went pro are most likely counted in where they didn’t have a home

Well that certainly solves all the issues transfers
Have created

Well there goes the recruiting out of the portal to help keep kids here idea.

This is crazy. It would be like everyone in the NFL is on a 1 year contract. At the end of every season everyone is a free agent out to the highest bidder.
