Story goes like this…
Lots of shirts went out to the lower level. So most all of us put them on. I think i was the last to put mine on, cuase i wanted to support NINER NATION. But i put it on over NINER NATION becuase of the unity. Well, while we were down the the 2nd half, someone turns to me and says, its time for “NINER NATION!!!” OMG, i was so hype. It was like rally caps, but times 11.3!!! The whole front row ripped off their Got Lutz shirts and NINER NATION shined. IDK if you guys say it, but if you did you would noticed shortly afterwards we took the lead and i dont think we were ever down after that.
I got an apology from a friend who said “I AM SORRY I EVER DOUBTED NINER NATION”

I knew the team would rally around what shirt you were wearing. When all hope was lost, it was a t-shirt that saved our conference championship.
After at least three of you went in to the Sports Marketing meeting and talked about how everyone needed to “come together”. Everyone was on the same page, you had to make yourselves the odd one out. Hell, even most of the Greeks were on the same page as everyone else.
And now you’re on here bragging about this?

Niner nation is the whole student section or even the wole arena, don’t try to make it excluive. You don’t have to wear a nn shirt to be part of nn. Just wear a green 49ers shirt.

On top of my root canal and watching my daughter while my wife went out, I didn’t shave and wore my usual good-luck attire:

My extra pennance was that I had forgotten to do laundry this week, and had to wear them dirty. :wacko:

When Gang Green was started back during the 2000-2001 season it was a great idea because it got students to the games, our 1999-2000 season was not good at all and the students were not supporting the team. I was a member of gang green that first year it started and it was great, the problem was they didn’t and still don’t know how to expand their intial goals. Niner Nation has actually done what gang green was suppose to, I agree gang green is kinda pointless now but back before the rodney season it was a great idea to get students interested in the team and unified at the games. There isn’t really any positive now that were top 25 and everyone wants to go to the games but if we run into another losing season we will see how strong Niner Nation is…

Gang Green is just a part of the student body. Kinda like Niner Nation is. What's the difference between Niner Nation and the students? We're all together here, no difference.
yeah, this is probably my life highlight here… we took off our shirts. I love when people take NINERNATION.NET more serious than life. let’s calm down buddies…

THANK YOU. You know what’s funny C, I haven’t washed mine in a while either!! Wear it even when we’re on the road and wore it under the “Got Lutz” shirt last night. Don’t hate on people for being superstitious.

You’re the one that deemed it important enough to start a thread about it, you know how often I check the message board, it is my life, I am thinking about printing NinerNation.net shirts and distributing it homeless people in uptown Charlotte. By getting them at no cost to role models in the community it will encourage others to want to buy the shirt.
