Just remembered that Grant spent time as an assistant under Brownell at Clemson, so that could be a courtesy nod by White.
More important that Wes Miller being our new head coach, what do we know about this Rich Elias guy giving us NIL money… that is more important than the coach these days… seems it was just a tweet and that’s it? Anyone else know anything about it?
Maybe we should look at a down the bench assistant coach from somewhere like Ohio State?

founder of red ventures. He’s been attending some of our games. I guess he’s wanting to help us build a winner. He isn’t wealthy enough to own a professional sports franchise (though he is charlottes only resident billionaire), so maybe he sees funding us next closest thing.

Well, a certain ex-Ohio State assistant and now also ex-San Diego assistant is looking for a job with Steve Lavin getting canned by the Toreros. 
I don’t have a ton of details have heard that several Charlotte business leaders have agreed to rally around the University to help raise its stature even further. The city is growing and needs the major university to continue to grow too (like achieving R1) and Elias was mentioned specifically as a big donor and leader of this effort. I am not sure all the money is NIL directed but it he is opening his wallet, that is a good sign and much needed.
