This Arkansas-High Point game is a freaking track meet. Whoever our next coach is, hope they will run the floor like this, instead of the boring crap we’ve been running the last 8 years!
We need to hire FLYNN CLAYMAN. Go get this guy! That’s the the kind of basketball I want to watch. He would put excitement back into this program.
Clayman certainly fits what most people here are asking for. But with all the reports its likely Wes who should fit the bill too.

North Carolina went 24-9 this season, despite projected top-five pick Caleb Wilson missing the final nine games with two different hand and thumb injuries. The Tar Heels beat Duke on Feb. 7 to improve to 19-4 but went just 5-5 the rest of the way. Everyone/all schools needs to figure out how to evaluate coaches and players in this accelerated landscape of CBB. We would kill to be 24-9
24-9 in our conference has us missing the NCAA. They let tar holes in any way they can as evidenced by their 1-12 quad one record a couple of years ago that still got them in.
Santa Clara got in as an at large with 8 losses.
I think we could get an at large with 9 losses, but not with how we have been scheduling out of conference. Odds are definitely stacked against us with 9 losses for sure though. Especially in seasons like this one where the conference had a bunch of ho hum teams.
we are going to need a couple of good seasons before we are able to build a quality ooc schedule again.
With four candidates, going to take some time to get through the process.
I don’t think the Toledo coach is a viable candidate. He has been there 15 or 16 years without a single trip to NCAA. we don’t need to hire Dilby, another unproven assistant like we did from Virginia even though he’s from Duke. Nolan Smith has only coached one year. In my opinion, that leaves Wes Miller unless there are others no one has mentioned.

Earl Grant would be a terrible choice. He just finished 16th in his conference after five years with a losing record and no trips to the NCAA. Why would we fire Fearne to get him?
FWIW, Dildy and White were at Northwestern at the same time. And, of course, Kowalczyk and Gaber were simultaneously at Toledo.
