When we first approached the school about using the license, they got us in touch with marketing. We were directed to the person in charge of licensing, and we were quoted a price that would have doubled the cost of production on the shirts we did make.
Maybe it isnāt a lot for a corporation, but for two college kids, it was.
I was down at Steve and Berryās off Independence this past weekend. They had a few shirts. Maybe 4, 3 had āUNC-Charlotteāā¦ the other was the C pick and 49ers logo on the chest (gray shirt), looked kind of awkward though.

I prefer the 49ers logo. I just think it looks better. Too bad they quit making hats with it on them (even if it was only white ones).
Not really true UNC Charlotte merchandise. But I found this shirt at Old Navy and found it ironic. Itās green and everything. Only problem is that I believe it only comes in womenās style.
Saw that the other day. It is a womens cut. So even if your skinny youāll look like a woman wearing it.

Agreed. Thatās why I said talk to the manager and ask why that is the case. Ask why do they have more NC State apparel than Charlotte. Every time I go in there or Champs I ask if that is all of the merchandise they have for Charlotte, that their selection is pretty paltry. I donāt know how much it helps but I believe if more people do it and do it more consistently it can only help.

These are shirts I got from Steve and Berryās a few months back. Itās a little easier to cope with the UNC on them when they are some of the only shirts you have access to since nobody else frickin sells them. Theyāre not bad thoughā¦ I mean, I like them.

Niner Nation shirts are only 8 bucks, which IMO is excelent - the problem is that those that arent green, such as the grey or white ones etc, are 20 - and THAT is too much - especially with the assumption that it costs no more to make them than it costs to make the green onesā¦ and gosh darn it i want a white oneā¦

you know its funny - christmas time last year I got myself a hoodie from there, and they had 2 or 3 niner shirts in there as well as a few hats. A few weeks ago all that was there is 1 hat. Iām greatly dissapointedā¦ because it was the only store I had been to that had decent charlotte gear that didnt say UNC on itā¦
