Former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. was a guest at practice Wednesday. Decked out in Steelers gear, Smith had a specific task: He was holding the down marker during team drills.
Smith, who had 1,031 career receptions over 16 seasons for the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens, had an NFL Network camera crew documenting his afternoon.
At one point, Smith was approached by Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson. Smith responded by appearing to give Johnson advice/counsel.
I have been told that the Seminole Nation also endorses the Florida State nickname.
So far as " Redskins" is concerned, one needs to look up the original version of the team fight song to see that it (the song) was a product of a time unlike today. I prefer Washington Football Team to Washington Commanders.
Not to sidetrack the thread, but Iāve always thought Marquette University ditching its āWarriorsā nickname was beyond ridiculous. A warrior can be of any race, obviously.
I suppose each individual has his own version of what is or is not politically correct. Or her vision
Itās also stoopid I get censored for quoting The Chief Seattle verbatim about his people being removed from history, which is exactly what the censor did.
