The Steelers are loaded with talent and depth with a franchise QB, and 2 Niners greats starting on defense. I wish I could also say the same about the Charlotte Panthers. I hope I am wrong about Young and the Panthers plan. Peoples were wanting the Steelers to tank on purpose in 2022 to draft Young in 2023 over Pickett in 2022. They should wear dunce hats

You should remember that Jerry Richardson attempted to model much of the new Panthers franchise using Steelers organizational and operational concepts. I think that might have been a related reason the 4th preseason game was almost always Panthers Steelers. The Panthers strayed and by now, their general management and coaches are playing checkers, while the Steelers continue to prosper playing chess. It pisses me off. There are no quick fixes.

I have been around since before JR got the team. He was great friends with the Rooneys. The Steelers have been a very solid organization, they simply aren’t the be all, end all that you pretend.

The Steelers are ready. Kenny Pickett is the second coming of Joe Montana, and I can live happily with that If you are a true Niners fan and don’t watch Larry, Alex and crew dominate this year, you will be missing out on greatness. It’s coming, and it’s going to get louder

And the Steelers defense has been just as impressive at the QB the Panthers let get away
Pickett has been getting praise on sports radio. Ditto Howell as well. Of course, preseason is what it is, so we’ll know soon enough when the games are for real starting September 7th.
