Yea, he was no longer with the team, but when I yelled “who lit the rocket?” one guy raised his hand, and the next four bent over haha. I’m pretty sure they’ve been catching it all year for that mess.

Rained out at Wake today. Game will be played tomorrow at 6.

Wake has a turf field like our football stadium, so it should be easier to get on after rain than a grass field. I hope we can get this game in.

Baseball Rained Out at Wake, Will Play Tomorrow

How are we supposed to go to tomorrow’s baseball game at Wake AND tomorrow’s basketball game against Dayton? Life just ain’t fair at times.

I was looking forward to going too. I work about 5 minutes from Ernie Shore. I hope I’m not disappointed at the Dayton game tonite.

Took the L tonight. Fought hard up there in Winston. We’ll get back at it Friday vs. Youngstown. See y’all at the Hayes.

As long as it is not snowed out.

4 and 2 now against some solid competition. Should be a good year for the Diamond Niners.

Kind of dissapointed we lost to Wake. We had more hits than they did and lost by 4 runs. Too many walks given up so far this year.

We had 4 freshman and 3 guys making their Niners debut on the mound yesterday and they fared fairly well overall. Roberts had a bad day out of the pen walking 3 of the 4 he faced.

Yea Mr. B, we absolutely crushed the ball yesterday, we just couldn’t find gaps. They really didn’t hit it all that well, but when they did it left the yard.

Friday, March 1, 2013 - Niners beat Youngstown State 9-3.

Man, it was COLD out there.

5 and 2 now. Keep it up Niners!!

Justin Seager and Shane Basen have been absolute freaks at the dish this year.

Liking Brett Lang and how he has started his career as well.

Don’t forget Elwood, who is having just as good of a season as Basen, if not a little better.

Today’s game will start at 1:00 instead of noon because of snow. The 2nd game of today’s doubleheader has been moved to tomorrow. Tomorrow’s games are at 1:00 and 4:30.

BSB: Hatley walks in a run, but gets his first save of the season. Niners win 3-1 Saturday with a 1 p.m. DH Sunday. Charlotte now 6-2.
