As much as I do NOT like them, I have voted unc-chapel hill number one or two every week. I was at the Duke/Davidson game and in my opinion, Duke is not a top 5 team.
And if we beat Davidson by more than chapel hill or Duke, does that mean we should be Number 1 next week?

Maybe you can explain… how is UNC a top 5 team but Duke not based off what you saw at Bobcats Arena. Duke beat them by more and by all accounts that I’ve heard, destroying them when w/o Curry. I know the lack of a big man hurts but how was watching them vs. Davidson worse then when UNC played them.

I know what you are doing. This is a trick. You are trying to get me to defend the team from chapel hill.
I thought Duke matched up very well against Davidson. I also think the chapel hill team will defeat Duke.
The Davidson game against chapel hill was too early in the season, which sometimes gives the lesser team a better chance of winning… thus allowing Davidson and its veteran players to stay in that game.
The Tarheels moved up to number 3 in my poll this week, due to the Bruin loss. I think they are a very, very good team. I just think the Jayhawks, Tigers, and Bruins are all better.

6 games in out of 30+? Still seems early to me. Honestly, I just have a hard time thinking highly of UNC-UpTheRoad. They haven’t been very impressive vs. the likes of BYU, as well as Davidson.
If UNC is the top team in the country, they’ll have the opportunity to prove it. Davidson is not that opportunity, nor is it an opportunity for Duke to prove their Top 5.

It’s easy. Duke had already seen Davidson give UNC-CH a tough game, so they knew they were not dealing with cup cakes. I guarentee that UNC-CH went into that game thinking they were going to win by 20. Duke went in knowing they would have to play hard to get a win. It’s all about mentality when you go into a game.

Davidson would fall to 2-4 (in games that matter) so i don't see that being impressive in a voters mind. I could see us getting votes.
Putting the cart even further in front of the horse, the 4 games after that are all winable. 10-2 (have we EVER started that good?). . . . . . would be top 30 at least.

Duke won Maui didn’t they? They looked top 5 there.

yeah well with us shutting down SIU’s main player they may be playing off of the “the key player had a bad game” - which we all know isnt true. We just owned him.
