Hey there are a few things that i got to thinking about in the last 3 min that could have lead to a loss and will lead to one when we go up a
Better team.
What in the hell was bobby thinking passing the ball down court just run a guard play and let them foul. That risk was way to stupid for being at home.
Why in the hell do our PG have 4 points that game! No OTHER college i watch on espn or any channel has there PGS not scoring alot of their points. Harris is very fast like Ty Lawson fast so how come he doesn’t use the speed to score some fast break points. Our PGS have to be way more affective in game in order to make it anywhere in the A10!

Dewhurst IS A BALLER!
Anyone else agree?
dude- I am the biggest critic around, but this team is now way ahead of the game. Temple is a good team. Take the W and move on.
The downcourt pass would have been a good call if executed properly.
PG’s primary responsibility may not be to score, but we still need them to be a scoring threat… if for no other reason, to help keep the opposing defense honest.
Agree 100% on Dewhurst… or should I say Dewberry.

Dewhurst being “A BALLER” will lead to a loss?
Some people are never satisified with a win. That’s how it reads in the record book, even if it’s by 1 point or 35 points.
Good point. A win is a WIN.
Our next 2 games will be even tougher, and I’ll be happy with a win if we look ugly or do not look ugly.

That play was good because it get 1 man out in the open to fight for the ball on the opposite side of the court. We throw it in down low, theres a much higher possibility of getting it stolen and put in the basket. If we do it at the other end of the court and it gets stolen, he has 1 second to get it down the court and shot - not happening. You also forget Phil doesnt seem to have the ability to jump - but what 6’11 guy does?
Because our point guards are good at distributing the ball (at least harris is and gerrity is improving in that dept.) - Harris said earlier this year that he shoots the ball when he needs to, which is good because he’s definately not the tallest guy out there, infact, he’s usually the shortest guy out there. He distributes, we score - he shoots, we have a much better shot at getting blocked. He does shoot it when hes got the open shot however. I wouldnt change his play

I think this was the right thing to do. Only 1.1 left and if Temple did steal it there, they would of had to shoot a 70 ft shot to win the game. The guard play is risky…ever seen the “Bird play”?
That ^$$#^%$ with 1.1 secs. to go could have been the worst example of coaching I’ve ever seen.Yes,he could have thrown a better pass, but a coaches job is to put his team in a position to win…Bobby put us in a position to lose a horrid game!!

And what would you have said if a pass down low was intercepted and put into the basket? Would you also be saying that was the worst play you’ve ever seen?

I'm going to have to disagree. There isn't much worse that could've happened than throwing the ball out of bounds and taking no time off the clock while giving them the ball under the basket they have to score on. It wasn't a bad idea, but I doubt they practiced it, because the execution was pretty bad.
It’d probably take more than 1.1 seconds to strip a ball and gain possession from a Niner and put up a good shot… more time than an inbound pass and shot.
We’re lucky that one ref was awesome and gave us 2 good calls… the charge and the no-call with the wrestling on the floor.
Edit: I don’t think we’ve had a turnover on an inbound play all year, except for maybe that Leemire foul where they called him for wrapping his arm around a guy to get by him.
WOW! Just WOW! I guess you can’t make everyone happy. This is hilarious, what would you have been happier with legend, a loss? I mean seriously it’s a CONFERENCE win, Conference games are tough take the W’s as they come no matter what form they come in.
there is a big difference in 5 secs on the clock and 1.1.
And what would you have said if a pass down low was intercepted and put into the basket? Would you also be saying that was the worst play you've ever seen?
I wasn’t there, but where was the inbounds from, wasn’t it on our side of the halfcourt line? I won’t argue with the result of the game, but the result of that play is hard to argue for. 1.1 seconds, surey to God you can get the ball in, and if you didn’t have a timeout to call, we could have just thrown it at someone who’s back was turned.
