Not Happy With Win

I think I would have been happier with a loss too.

Powerbait is my favorite poster.
I’m going to have to disagree. There isn’t much worse that could’ve happened than throwing the ball out of bounds and taking no time off the clock while giving them the ball under the basket they have to score on.
Maybe this?
And what would you have said if a pass down low was intercepted and put into the basket?
Seriously, the Niners won. Time to move on.

Nothing wrong with the play, Mack just threw the ball on a line instead of up in the air to come down in the back court.

Temples backcourt is very strong, a little help down low and they would be tough.

The downcourt pass was not the first option. But it was the safety option. Like one poster said we did not want to take a chance on an interception with an easy pub-back. The play was good. The pass was just overthrown.

This thread is rediculous.
LOL

Other than Porkchop’s poor spelling…why is this thread ridiculous? Is this another call from the "you-have-no-right-to-complain-or-voice-concern-police?

i thought harris and gerrity had some open looks they passed on. if they could knock down some shots it could open up more options for us. gerrity seemed to have a little more energy than prior games, we need that from everybody. good win to start conference play.

“… just keep winning, just keep winning, winning, winning”

That was my daughter’s favorite movie - probably still is. Heck, even I now know almost every word in it by now…

I think I would have been happier with a loss too.
Why is this? What do you have to say about Bobby now? 2-2 versus ACC…10-5 and 1-0…Temple is a really good team. Gave Duke all they wanted…

dad-

think you missed the tongue in cheek

Temple is a really good team. Gave Duke all they wanted...

Come on. I think Temple is a pretty nice team, but they did not give Duke all they wanted. Duke controlled that game from tip to horn. Apart from Christmas’s flurry in the second half, they never tested the Blue Devils.

Evybody that dosent think this is a good win and everbodey who made fun of my speling can go to hel

Well, to borrow from the NCAA committee, there are no bad wins. There are good wins (Clemson), good losses (most yrs Maryland, GT would qualify) and bad losses (Insert Hofstra and Monmouth comment here).

I think the thread should be “If we keep blowing big leads I’m gonna scream” or something and we all would probably agree. Well, all but Lefty.
