I consider myself a very very patient person. However this is a joke. They had 9 days to prepare for this game. 9 days and these players are WORSE offensively then they were at Davidson. Why the heck are Bones, Booker and Sleeves taking more shots than DA, Lee and EJ? Why are our guys making halfcourt switches in the middle of a zone with 10 seconds left? What do they practice?
You know Iām very opposed to firing a coach mid year and I believed that Bobby would put forth an effort and save face, however Iām about at the end of my patience. This team is stealing checks. Our players are not coached whatsoever. They are coaching themselves. They donāt have any idea what a good shot is. They donāt know their assignments. They donāt understand their roles offensively.
Iām just pissed off right now. If they get blown out by Houston which I forsee happening, Iāve had it with this regime.:fastgun:
How many points off of turnovers did we get? It seemed like the only time we scored was when someone either stole the ball or when we got foul shots from the swat by 'twon.
The other time we scored was off that 9-0 run.

When we hit the first 3 pointer, Iām okay. We make the 2nd, I say uh-oh. We missed the next 3 attempt and then the next shot was a 3 pointer. Do you know what type of shot we attempted next? You guessed it. And Phaler - Is he, like, 0-15 from the arc this year?
Does anyone really win basketball games this way? Houston has to be one of the worst defensive teams in the country and we act terrified to create a decent shot.
Among many other things, this team could use a point guard.
Different gameā¦Same story only way this maddness will end is if Rose, Dubois, and Lutz are all gone. They all have this university on a plane headed straight for the ground going about 200 mph.
I havenāt even seen the score and from what Iāve read I donāt want to see it. I thought that surely after the long layoff we would come out and do SOMETHING. Waitā¦someone posted the score in the shoutbox. Ouch. This season is going from bad to worse. I canāt even get mad anymore. Iām just sick. Can we erase the 3 point line at Halton? Maybe next year? I donāt know what to say. This is depressing.

i was watching the gonzaga-duke game and something one of the announcers said really sums our team and lutz up for me. they were talking about pargo, one of the players for gonzaga, who was having a really good game. they said that he had only one other scholarship offer. we can sit here and talk about how we cant recruit as good of players as we used to but the bottom line is we still recruit good players but we dont coach them as opposed to a coach like mark few who recruits for the most part lesser known guys and knows how to coach them.
If Bobby Lutz has his job in Januaryā¦I will not come to another game.
He is a terrible basketball coach. Him and his entire staff should be gone. I donāt care anymore. That is the worst coached basketball team that I have ever seen.
Iām glad the athletic dept. paid for the team to travel all the way to Hawaii. Wonder what that ran them?
They shouldāve realized there was a tournament right here in town that would have been cheaper and better for the team . . . the Jordan Brand Tradition tournament was at Bobcatās Arena . . . showcasing Oak Hill Academy among some of NCās best HS teams

Thanks, just what Iāve been saying you can get good HS players and mold them into good players. 5 good players = a hell of a team. Mark Few is a top 5 coach. Gonzaga has established themselves among the elite in my mind. They are consistently picking up guys who donāt get schollies to anywhere (A Mo for instance) and turning them into superstars. I wonder if Ian was recruited by Gonzaga, because I think Mark Few could have fixed his defense and molded him into someone like Ravio.

Ugh, that game was brutal to be at. Herb Sendek put a clinic on in the second half - the Pack came out of the locker room and looked like an entirely different team. BP got shut down completely - I think they had Atsur on him in the 1st half and then they put the very tall Cam Bennerman on him. Is my memory right on that?
Now heās talking about the A-10 being a one-bid league, how we have to improve our 16% three point FG%, how weāre not good enough for the year, blaming negativity by people watching his playersā¦
