Yeah, they are tipping R+L=J a little too hard.
I have been saying for a while that Sansa and Arya are both undergoing apprenticeships. The show is selling it well.
Do we think that both combatants in the final scene are dead? I think BS is, and that he is the character that GRRM talked about the show killing off prematurely.
They showed BS laid out for funeral in the next week’s previews but I didn’t see GW. They’ve been playing up GW and Misieandie so I’m pretty sure he’ll live…for now.
With BS out of the way, sure might help Jorah get back in the good graces as the “Queen” is going to need all the bodies she can. Having the imp with him might not her either.
NA, having not read the books, when Baelish gave Sansa that look and how he phrased things I totally picked up R+L=J.

So having lost Tyrion, does Varys go on to Muareen or back to make mischief in Kings Landing?
If Tyrion makes it to Daenarys this soon, and Stannis gets to Winterfell; then that’s way ahead of where the books are.

Doesn’t Cersei know that Varys was involved in helping Tyrion escape? I would think returning to King’s Landing would be extremely dangerous for him right now.
Jamie does for sure - and I would assume everyone in Kings Landing of note would know since he disappeared the sametime as Tyrion. I also thought that since Varys seems to know whats going on everywhere it wont take long for him to hear that Tyrion is with Danny.
I feel like that’s a perception that comes from having read the books and the theories…cause originally I felt the same way, but I don’t think anyone who has only watched the show has enough evidence to draw that conclusion based on like 3 ridiculously subtle references in 5 seasons.

As someone who’s only watched the show, and started and caught up since last Fall, that was the first moment I put it all together. They do not exactly talk very much (in the show) about Raeygar, and even Lena (outside of the first few episodes in the first season). To be honest, it may have been the second or third time they were mentioned in the same breath.
If anything, I think the show, has made it appear that he is one of Robert Baratheon’s bastard children. That’s what my girlfriend thought, and I still believe she may think that even after I mentioned that R + L = J.
what was Melesandre talking about when she told Jon Snow, he know nothing?
I want to know.
Jon Snow didn’t want to enter her creepy womb because 1) his vow 2) he still loves Ygritte even though she’s dead, to wit Melesandre replied “You know nothing, Jon Snow”, which of course was Ygritte’s oft-spoken line. Basically she’s a creepy magic chick and she’s trolling Jon Snow.

I also couple with it Ned Stark’s refusal to tell Catelyn with whom he cheated. The answer of course is no one, because Jon Snow ain’t his progeny.

You can show her that’s unlikely by going back to season 1 when, on their way to King’s Landing, Robert asks Ned about his bastard’s mother and Ned tries to blow him off of it. There’s no reason for him to hide the identity of the mother of one of Robert’s own bastards from him when he’s got 20 of them running around Kings Landing that he’s not totally unaware of.

They’re not hitting the Milesandra/Jon story line as hard as I thought they would. It’s a major plot point going forward in the book.

Basically, this is telling me that Mellesadre is the real deal (not just a ghost baby poppin’ big deal).

Well, she’s no Thoros of Myr, but she’s a lot sexier though.

I’ve always thought that, ever since seeing said ghost baby poppin. I thought, if she has these powers, why isn’t she bossing Stannis, instead of following him? Why isn’t Stannis afraid of her?
Also, it seems to fit a theme by GRRM of women>men.
For example…
Daenerys outlasted her brother and Drogo
Yara>Theon
Cersei has essentially outlasted Robert, Jamie, Tyrion, Tywin and Joffrey
Arya has always seemed to be casted as something for the long run, outlasted Ned
Now Shireen and Ellaria look to be in greater roles
and the worse travesty of all…Briennne outlasted the Hound
