Opening day...

the Oakland Athletics... consistently do the most with the least on their roster.

There is no group of professional athletes I hate more than Oakland Athletics.

I see your point, I’d hate them if my team was a bunch of underachievers too.

Who’d the Anaheim-Los Angeles of Southern California Angels buy this offseason? haha
The Braves have won 14 divisions in 15 years and aren’t relevant to you. The Cubs haven’t won a WS in 100 years and are relevant to you. Makes sense to me.
I was speaking in terms of the teams people think are going to contend this year. The Cubs spent a ton of money in the offseason and many think they will see instant results, I wasn’t speaking historically. IF the Braves do any serious damage this year it will come as a surprise to many. The Mets and Phillies should be the top teams in the division again.

As for the Braves, I was just breaking ball since there are probably a number of Braves fans on the board. I admit they were good and won a bad division year in and year out. Their run was impressive, but should have resulted in more than 1 WS title.
English Premier League - This is the premier football (soccer) league in England.
Teams you may recognize: Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Scottish Premier League - This is the premier football league in Scotland.
Teams you may recognize - Celtic (my favs) and Rangers

Union of European Football Associations
Pretty much each country has its own premier football league. So if you think of each league as a conference in NCAA basketball, the UEFA Cup is like the NCAA tournament.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait just a minute… you are saying baseball is boring, but you enjoy soccer!?

El Duque back to his Yankees form last night for my Mets. Look out!

Good call on Josh Hamilton. I, too, am also very interested to see how he does.
Josh Hamilton will be playing in Charlotte and Durham this week with the Louisville Bats rehabbing from his illness. He should be back in Cincy next week.
