If we played on a neutral court, they would have been favored.
I think this past year, if they played on our home court, they should’ve been favored.

Andy Katz on Gregg Marshall…
X’s Miller being mentioned for the "UM"s of the Big 10…
Kansas assistant Tim Jankovich was named head coach at Illinois State.
Marty Simmons (D-II SIU-Edwardsville) hired at Evansville.
If 24-8 gets you fired, there is no security ever.
Interesting…Steve Alford is going to leave Iowa for New Mexico.
UNM tells Marshall they are going in another direction.
X's Miller being mentioned for the "UM"s of the Big 10...
There’s some chatter on the A-10 boards saying that Miller is staying with Xavier (with a $400k raise)

Hand-waving and smoke screen. Chris Lowery FTW.
Chris Lowery FTW.
Well, he can’t be named coach at both schools!
Colorado State will hire North Dakota State’s Tim Miles. NDS assistant Saul Phillips will be promoted to head coach of the Bison, best known for beating Marquette this season and Wisconsin in 05-06. Miles had been a frontrunner for the UNCW position last year, but withdrew his name to stay at NDS, currently a D-I independent.
I think there is a chance Lowery stays at SIU.
Alford out at Iowa, leaving for New Mexico
Jeff Ruland was bought out by Iona for some reason.
I know they had a bad year, but he is a legend at the school and has had great success there as a coach.
I believe he even contributed some of his own money towards on-campus facilities.
Tubby Smith has agreed to leave Kentucky and take the Minnesota job. Kentucky will still pay TRubby his 1.5 million bonus which he was due.
I’m pulling for Calimari to get it. He’ll get caught cheating at Kentucky and Memphis will find out you can win like they are winning without a dirty coach. Fun times all around.

I hope so, too. I posted this in the shoutbox earlier: http://www.al.com/sports/mobileregister/index.ssf?/base/sports/11735219704170.xml&coll=3
If there’s a new coach at Memphis, he should do perfectly fine if he can retain the players they have. But if he can’t recruit at a really high level, then it’s adios Memphis in a few years.
Fresno State associate coach Heath Schroyer takes over at Wyoming.
Apparently Gregg Marshall is the leader for the USF job. UMass coach Travis Ford declined an interview.
Brad Greenburg (Seth’s brother and assistant) takes his fitst head coaching job at Radford. I guess RU wdon’t have to pay moving expenses since the schools are about 20 miles apart.
