I’ve actually stayed at that resort and it is very nice.

but its not worth $210.00 (or higher) per night.

I spent a week on St. Thomas 2 years ago (in October) an paid about half that amount per night.

Looks to be the typical game to ANY hotel/resort plays…jack up the price when we feel we can get away with it.

I’ll be there !

For $1500 per person I might have considered it, but the extra grand for my wife and I makes this an easy decision. With food included this is still too high. Airfare prices to any non-hub are ridiculous these days even with a direct flight, and the jackup of the hotel rate does not not make this any more appealing. The Athletic Department should have done some better bargaining.

To anybody that went to Hawaii last year, what was the base price per person for that trip? I remember it being in this ballpark, and it’s 5 hours further away by plane. Go figure.

I don’t think i’d want to go watch a completely raw team. It’d ruin the vacation if they lost in the first round.

It could be real special if they win though, that would be HUGE start to the season and raise expectations immediately.

I don’t stay at hotels very often, but what do they define as “per person double occupancy”? If my wife and I go we only need one room so why would we have to pay per person for a hotel? I’m a cheapskate but the entire thing seems pretty high, 60 bucks per ticket, I hope those are close tickets.

It is “per person”. Why they charge less for double occupancy is behind. A room is a room, and should be priced per room. I never understood why hotels charged more for more people so long as you don’t violate their max occupancy rule(s). Somebody is trying to make this thing a money maker, but it won’t be my cash.

You SHOULD decide to go because you love the Niners, not because of might win-not win. If you have the cash, it’s a pretty good place to find things to do to either celebrate a win or forget about a loss.

It’s a guaranteed three games. Kind of like last year in Hawaii where we lost our first and then won the next two.

$60 is for the whole tournament.

X-49er, there are different rooms and rate packages available at the resort website. I think you can get 6 nights & airfare for two for under $3,000.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. X will investigate. Thanks for the info.

I'll be there !

Man, I would hate to have your job. :ticked:

just FYI … I just booked my trip. The flight was $625 round trip. The hotel is $171 per night for six nights at the Holiday Inn right on the Bay. To me, the prices on the packages listed seem a little high. Looked like you could do a better deal on your own.

I was getting ready to post exactly the same thng.

That’s usually how it works for me. I’ve got hotel points so I’m going to look into that.

I look forward to being there myself…along with my wife and soon to be 1-1/2 year old when that time arrives. We have sooo many great memories from there previously.

If you want an affordable place to stay, try Bolongo Bay…very affordable.

I’m going to check with the Athletic Foundation to make sure those prices are not actually per room. I just booked 6 nights for $1446 (total) at Frenchman’s Reef. I’d rather do the 49er club deal because it includes transportation and tickets. Per person just doesn’t sound right…unless it’s for the best rooms they have.

Lefty, I finally get to party with you dude! We are bringing my mother and father in law with us so we can have a baby sitter and have a great time! Can’t wait to see everyone there!
