PF Chris Braswell - 2009

Bump…

Visiting today. Someone in the shoutbox mentioned they saw him on campus. Any news or observations?

Charlotte’s campus is exceptional…I have not driven through it in abought a year (until yesterday), other than going to Halton. Recruits that are going to start next fall should be excited about all that’s going on and with the new student union’s opening late next summer. That being said, hopefully the visit went well and an official visit was scheduled when nearly 23,000 students return. Go Niners…

Any idea on how the visit went?

How did the visit go? Somebody has to know… out with it.

Richfield, can you shed any light on this?

Any updates? I’m getting impatient.

Just looked up Sherrill, so I thought I’d check Braswell’s insider eval too:
Evaluation
Great body. Long arms good hands, quick feet. He can beat his defender both inside and outside. In the post he likes to spin baseline and score. He can play facing the basket comfortably at 15’. A shot blocker who rebounds well on both ends of the floor.

A very good athlete who must be more of a presence in the paint on a more consistent basis. He has a chance to dominate inside if he commits himself. He must continue to work on his 15’ jumper from the high post.
Scout gave him an 89 rating, which is very good. Usually top 50-75 range. I think they have him rated 66th, so that jives.

Good info. Those are the types of post forwards I like. Really hope we can get him.

This kid is a stud. He's the 84th ranked player in the Top150, and ranked the 26th best pf in the nation.

Braswell is moving up in the rankings. He is now the 78th ranked player in the top150, and the 22nd ranked pf in the nation.

He is definitely a BIGTIME talent, and like Sherril, would be here for FOUR years. :49ers:

Time to lock him up before he blows up into one of those Mickey D’s AA considerees (that seems to happen to us a lot :(…)

Braswell sounds like another big that would be perfect for us. Looks like the future could be bright for us if we land Sherrill and Braswell!!!

I can see Braswell in Niner green!

Braswell at Midnight Madness is huge.

Awesome, Chris Braswell chant anyone?

You students need to spread the word about MM and get as many people there as you can. The greater the number of fans, the better the chance of landing Braswell (IMO).

Yea, we had a pretty good turnout last year, if a student goes to classes/has any idea of campus events then they should know, but the word will be spread.

I cant wait for October and basketball season to get HERE! Braswell chant is a must!

Rut row…
Braswell also has considered Virginia Tech, Xavier, Virginia, Indiana and Oklahoma.

Have these schools considered Braswell? What about GTown. They still in the mix?

I'd say this qualifies as a pretty good update.
