They got plenty of chances. Eddie missed several layups and Withers missed two dunks. Sure Withers was double and triple teamed, but he has to be good enough to get rid of it so somebody else can get a good shot. If our inside guys canât finish and keep from turning it over, they donât need to keep getting it every time unless theyâre going to get to the charity stripe. Our frontcourt turned the ball over way too many times last night. That, coupled with the easy ones we missed nearly cost us that game.

He isn't our best option, at least I don't think so. Leemire shot 50% from the floor. Sure, I don't want a freshman taking the last shot, and that's not what I'm saying.
What am I saying is, Plav is just a part of our team. Bobby gives him too much a free hand because Bobby believes that same thing, that Brendan is our best option. Plav on fire is almost unstoppable, but regular plav is our 3rd best option. All too often he gets treated as our best option.
Bobby needs to reign in Curt too when Curt is playing poorly. Bobby has a tendancy to let certain guys âwork throughâ slumps.
I love watching our team play, but this has just been a hard team to watch this year. I am frustrated with the whole team, as Iâm sure many other people are. Eddie played like garbage for most of the game. He was great on Wright (when he guarded him), but he also shot 2 or 3 3pts when it was obvious they werenât going in.
I think the best part of this game is, we hit FTs when they mattered. Eddie and Plav were both great at the line. I seriously hope that Plav gets over his slump, because we will need him to be money at the line later in the season.
