Do students have to buy tickets also??

yea i think so

Im not sure about the NIT, but I believe there is a small number of tickets for students for the NCAA tournament…either way students get cheaper tickets probably like $5 for NIT and $10-$15 for NCAA

If we host an NIT game I know the tickets are very cheap like $5 to the public from what I remember in 06.

Same info was on sheets in the Hospitality Room last week with this addition pertaining to students:

Student Tickets (current Charlotte 49ers Students Only): Visit www.ticketreturn.com/49ers for information when available.

Tickets? I’m guessing we will get an NIT bid and play a first round game in crapple hole vs the tar holes.

If we keep this free fall going…we’ll make the NIT but we won’t be Top Seed material in it either.

We’ve lost 4 of 5 and could very EASILY lose the last 2. Even if we win 1 in the A10 Tourney, we could realistically close the year losing 6 or 7 of our last 9 games.

Our RPI is also now in the 60’s…

Hosting an NIT game is a possibility but far from a certainty at this point.

My how the mighty have fallen!!

If we keep this free fall going…we’ll make the NIT but we won’t be Top Seed material in it either.
And if we win the A10 Championship, we’re in the NCAA.

My point was we’ll still be seeded higher than the tarholes if they were to somehow mysteriously make the NIT (which, as we all know, is very unlikely)… so the only places we would play them are in Halton or MSG.

For Students:

As far as 1st Round A10 Tournament tickets go, there will be a request period starting on Friday March 5th for the possible game on Tuesday the 9th.

that point alone is enough to keep UNC at Chapel Hell from participating in the NIT.

NO WAY Roy Williams lowers himself to coach a game in Halton Arena, unless he gets to assign everyone’s seats.

What’s a Post Season?

Good Question

I have read on several websites plus I heard on Pacman, a lot of people think Roy Williams wouldn’t accept an NIT bid.

They will NEVER play us at Halton, no matter what. You can take that to the bank.

If we are the higher seed they play us where we tell them or forfeit. but they wont put them in the same region as us so no worries

That’s really my point, they won’t play us because they have the sway to get what THEY want. We don’t.
I really don’t think they will accept an NIT invite, even if asked because they will be a lower seed ( if they seed the same way the NCAAs are), and they won’t want to play on the road, sooo…
