Keep dreaming…it’s been well documented in the media that an extension is in the works. Even if we lose out, he’s here for I would guess atleast 4-6 more years. Losses like these will be blamed on a youth and inexperienced, not coaching.

Disagreed we have talent. We dont have a coach that can stay calm in games. You see him at home. What other coach u see doing all that. He cleary cant think straight. Let me tell u what i saw…
Lutz does not need to keep harris in for defense. Mike is clearly better. You see a faster paced game with him in and thats how we should be look at our personal.
WTF was he doing up 13 and letting lee shoot. I love lee he is a great player but shooting like that come one i dont care what class your in WE are trying to win. You take him out. He shot 2 airballs and a block to help them come back.

Another think to show you we got out coached…Notice how we are up 6 with 3 min left and we do not put the ball inside. why does he not run plays for post players. They had 4 fouls. U see how richmond went to to Mack the whole time and he had to let them score bc he wanted playing time. SUB him out for defense. I watch alot of basketball and i think we should have one that game hands down we just made bad defensive changes…

He knows the A-10 with years under Martelli at St. Joe’s and knows how to utilize the point guard position.
Last year they had a PG named Jared Jordan who averaged over 10 assists agame and wasn’t half the athlete that Gerrity is. Jordan ended up being drafted in the 2nd round and was traded from the Clippers to the Knicks. He would able to connect our program to the fertile recruiting grounds of the northeast, where there isn’t an ACC bias and the A10 is looked fairly well upon.
His Marist teams have improved each year he has been coach and he has been able to get some talent there.
He also recruited Delonte West of the Seattle Sonics, Eddie Basden’s former HS teammate. So he knows the DC area as well, a place we have had some success recruiting as well.

Cheeks, a head coach, are you f*cking kidding me? what has he done?? Moxley I can understand, but Cheeks is a rediculous statement. He needs to be around a few more years before he gets that kind of respect. You do realize he is supposed to be “coaching” these guys too, as well as Moxley.

You lose a lot of credibility with this statement. I don’t believe an assistant of the coach who just got fired because of performance, has ever been hired as the new coach in the history of college basketball.
