Two points. 1. Moxley is a clone of Lutz. They are joined at the hip. Expect
little change with Moxley at the helm. 2. Lutz has enough contacts in the
"biz" that heāll be fine whereever he goes. Heāll land on his feet, just like
Sendek, Knight, etc.

Yes, Benny is now 18-10 and in second place in the Colonial. Heās very happy in Wilmington, his wife and kids love it. Situations change and money talks but heās told me more than once that he could be a career coach at Wilmington only and be happy.
Also, Benny will remain loyal to Bobby. His text messages to me last night were not so much about his victory, but wishing for Lutz to get the overall victory record.

Benny also has Xavier transfer Johnny Wolf eligible next season after sitting out this year. I believe he will really blossom at UNCW as the starting PG.
I gotta chime in here (shocker). You people know what CHPhil is going to do if Lutz leaves? He is going to offer a $200k salary. People like Benny Moss arenāt going to leave the beach for a $50k increase and run amuck into our expectations. We pay a salary that is not even top 100 but is expected by admins and fans to be a top 50 team. As HP posted last week, the avg salary of an NCAA tourny coach was (600k). Wichita St pays 800k and they are 10-17 with Greg Marshall!!!
This team is playing every game down to the wire with 9 new guys and one senior. I am depressed about the last two weeks but if you look at preseason guesses from NNN and the professionals, we are about what we thought we would be, or ahead of the curve in this rebuilding.

Iām sure we can get someone else to miss the Tourney. At least we will be saving money.

This isn't the first time it's happened. His teams have a habit of caving in as the season nears end. We have seen this before, been there done that, Ground Hog Day all over again. Wild shots and piss poor defensive schemes. It's silly to argue otherwise. You know it, everybody knows it. People were calling for his head at the beginning of the year. We beat a couple of ACC teams then they are ready to resign him. Why? Is anyone surprised how this is going?
On a related note, I think Leemire just shot another off balanced 3 early in the shot clock.

The funny thing is ā¦ we were a free throw away in regulation from having 5 threads praising Lutz for his fine coaching against a tricky opponent like Richmond. After the 1st half, Utter said that the team looked well coached and fundamentally sound as ever and Wilderness and Mack both had great games.
In fact, with Lutzās coaching milestone - I would think there would be even more than 5 threads praising Lutz. One free throw. Not a lot of gray areas regarding coaching with our fanbase ā¦ everything is either pitch black or blindingly white.
