Contraire, I’ve had plenty of good luck here. Won 100 bucks for my charity off you chumps for the better season we had which was the 2nd year in a row. I’m glad your coach didn’t want him and kept midget SG’s like Brisco and Green. Brisco certainly got hot for one game vs us, but he couldnt shoot like Bowden. We beat out UTEP and some other good schools to get him and that doesn’t look that great your coach would take a pass considering the lack of consistent outside threats you’ve had and still have. 2nd best three point shooter in CUSA last year. 60 made three’s. Innocent. Enough said.

But he still plays NO defense! He got schooled by our guys last year so bad he got his ass put on the bench. If Bowden couldn’t get off the bench with Bobby who was way more worried about offense than defense he wouldn’t have sniffed the court under Major. You can live with his idiotic play we couldn’t. There is more to basketball than shooting. He played no D, he was a team cancer, he played solo on the court and on top of all that his mental capacity is limited which is shown through his questionable judgement that gets him involved in situations like the one he is in. None of that has changed at ECU.

Bowden didn’t start vs you guys but he had 13 points and 14 minutes. The rest of the season he started most of the games and averaged a lot more minutes than that so I guess that blows up the premise that he didn’t play defense if Lebo was playing him that much in other games that he didn’t average point a minute in. Must have been doing something to stay on the court. Right?
It was hard for him to keep up with a 5-10 SG you guys played but it’s not like Brisco could stop him either or shoot that well most other games. Most game Bowden played in he was more than capable of guarding D1 sized players with his size. I’m not going to say he’s a great defender, but he did play hard on defense, including that game he was playing vs you and I can pull your own posters recognizing that. He played his role here last year better than I expected.

We’ve sucked lately and we still own ECU. Talk smack when you beat us regularly in basketball. What happens on the court is all that matters.
We had several guys that stayed on the court last year despite not doing things right. Sometimes players play because they are the best option. That doesn’t always mean they are a good option though.
All that means is you have to pay more to get a shitty coach to come to your crappy program.

Briscoe didn’t start vs ECU last year scored 19pts in 11min in the second half :o shot 62% fg and 1000% 3pt and beat your guards like a drum. Bowden, Paul, were helpless in trying to stop him. What the hell is a D1 sized player. If you can only defend one size GUARD then your not a good defender. Hell the best guards in the A-10 are all 6ft and under.
Do yourself a favor. Compare your program to those you beat … trying to comparing your program to one/Charlotte that beats your azz 75% of the time renders you foolish.

Lebo made 566k and 610k the two years he was here. We also gave him an 8 year contract after Penn State came after him. That’s a lot better than you are paying and I’m not sure about you guys but I’d take 150k more a year and 4 more years guaranteed on the contract to coach in the same league for those comparing jobs. Not to mention the other investments we are making in the program in new facilities right now and tools he will have to work with.
