Personally, after losses when I was a high school athlete, Iād sulk around that night and get mad and practice early the next morning. Partying was never on the agenda except after a win, but like I said, this was high school, not college. I had a belief that the hardest workers are the best players. Thats just me.
That being said, if I had to have the coach TELL me I should be upset after a loss, it wouldnāt have mattered. If youāre not upset and beating yourself up after a loss, its probably because you are a loser. Sorry to be so blunt.
one thing is certain here, late night partying and gold digger groupies are not going to fix our defensive problems.
back to being optimistic, the odds of us losing 4 games in a row arenāt high so we should be playing this time next week. Iām not all that optimistic right now about playing a 1 or 2 seed however.

Hard to believe last week at this time we were talking about how we were going to crush USF and then hopefully make a run in the conference tournament.
Speaking from the perspective of a 21 year old, when I get my head handed to me in anything the last thing I want to do is party. At worst I could see wanting to get a drink or two, but clubbing after you just got clubbed! That tells me that some of them donāt have enough pride in this program. Good to know that our seniors are setting the right example though.
Eddie rarely drinks, per the team and my personal experience. Leemire, I know, took the early season losses hard. I donāt know how heās been handling the recent losses.
But, I think coach should lock down harder on a loss to USF than a loss to Memphis. They should have been forced to change in the girlās locker room after that game, he should have worn them out for a loss like that. Instead, he played it off.
How can I be pissed at the players for not being overly upset at a loss, when our head coach doesnāt even appear to notice that we lost to USF?!? Maybe if Bobby channeled some of that anger at the refs, we wouldnāt have to worry about losses to Rutgers, USF and ECU.
They ended up getting flights out. A bus ride was planned, but flights were arranged. I personally would have preferred it if Bobby had parked their rears on bus seats and made them endure the 10 hours. And some players were allowed to stay behind and take their planned Sunday flight. So much for getting in a practice Friday or Saturday
I donāt know what team youāre talking about because the menās team was sure as heck on a bus back to charlotte, and the ride was more like 12-13 hours.

That is right. Another bogus report by one of our fans. I donāt know why so many 49er fans think they know how to coach a team or run a Div 1 program.
Iām sure Lutz will have his team motivated for Friday!!! Go NINERS!!!
