YES IT IS!!! Could we please review every play of every game? A foul is a foul, there is no hierarchy there!!!
Also, they only showed Lee’s right side camera shot once and you could see that Hall retaliated from the first elbow on Goldwire’s right side, which is what caused Lee to throw the second…

Yep, I just did rewind on the old tivo to that angle and that angle made it look like the first elbow was almost not intentional, showed the hall retaliation and then Lee’s elbow…
Lee still should not have done it, but it wasn’t as bad as the angles they kept replaying…

Goldwire’s play is the worst in crunch time in 49er history. Even if he was mugged, he should have held his temper.
Hopefully Goldwire’s stupidity doesn’t break the back of the team.

I will say this though. I have one thing to look foward to.
After seeing today’s game, we playled better than the best team in the A10.

Blame the refs all you want, but Leemire absoultely blew this game for us. Plain and simple. There is no excuse that can be made for throwing elbows at that point in the game. None whatsoever. The guy did have a handfull of jersey, but thats basketball it happens. You cant throw and elbow because of it. Just an absolutely idiodic move by Goldwire. Personally, I would have trouble looking my teamates in the eye if I pulled a stunt like that. I’m not suprised to see it happen, mental toughness and basketball IQ has been holding Lee back all year. Hopefully he can use the experience and improve from it.

It still didn’t qualify for a “tape” review. First one for me since I became a basketbal junkie, though.
The way I see it, the thing that cost us the game at the end was that put back. If only we had had better positioning, boxed-out.
You’ve got to give GW credit. That was a heck of a play to end the game.

I’m sorry, grabbing the back of someones jersey and yanking them backwards is clearly NOT basketball. Its a technical foul. Not a basketball foul. Thats the difference, and its a big one.
