SIU POSTGAME
Agreed. Ian tonight was last year’s Leemire. But when he’s off, we play miserable basketball. Niner basketball continues to be very dependent on a 3-point shooter. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s changing with AnJuan, Phil, etc…but I don’t know…
nah, it’s not changing. i’ve noticed that teams always play zone against us, and we have to hit shots to make them go man. looking at next year, we’ll still be a 3 point shooting team, just be better rebounders, and (knock on wood) be better shooting from the 3 point land. why i say that, well as you all know shamarr can hit threes, spears was hitting 3’s in midnight madness, and kj sherrill has a nasty jumper too. i played against him last year, and he was hitting baseline 18 footers like no tomorrow. granted he’s 6’8"+ and can crash the boards. so really, i think we’ll have a better inside game, but i think we’ll still be dependent on the 3’s.

Wait...we won?

Really?

Oh my god… seriously!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

:49ers:

gotta admit I share that opinion too!

Too bad we can’t play them 20 times.

:49ers:

anyone notice Mack played 20 min? thats a major decrease
Good. Mack and Dew are killing us with missed shots and turnovers. I'd go with Phil, Cooley and Wilderness on the front-line until their tongues dropped.
Mack still shot more than anyone else, and still had the worst percentage.
repetitive telling stat of the season. does he even have an assist this year?

I would be pretty pissed off if I were an SIU fan. Unless something drastic happens, that’s going to be a major blow to their RPI.

I think I would stop scheduling us if I were them.

He's avg ~ 1 per game (he had 2 against SIU). The problem is his assist/turnover ratio is 1/3.7. Of course, the only guy on our team with a positive assist/turnover ratio right now is Harris, at 2.1 / 1.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

How much of that is because we beat them at their place though?

That had to murder their RPI.
