nvm

Terrible news for his family, the university, and Wake fans.

They all have our heart-felt condolences.

My condolences to the family, the school, the fans, the team, the incoming guys and the basketball community as a whole. So sad.

my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

My condolences of course.

Personally, I was a fan of Prosser. Went to several Wake games under his tenure. Really seemed like a genuine guy. Just looked and felt right at courtside. Supposedly a real family man too.

Terrible news. Way too young.

This is really sad to hear. My Dad and Grandfather went to Wake, so consequently WF was my #1 prior to coming to Charlotte. My thoughts and prayers goto his family.

Thoughts and prayers to the Wake family and Prosser family.

How did y’all find out so fast?
I just found out 5 min. ago.

Rumors were going around at 3pm or a little after I believe.

People had confirmed it when I read about it around 3pm.

According to the 2nd link in the 1st post, Prosser’s collapse was announced by the athletic department. But it sounds like the school waited until the right time to announce that Prosser had died.

Thoughts and prayers to Prosser’s family, Nancy, Scott and Mark, his staff and players and the entire Wake Forest community. He was genuinely a personable man who took time with everyone he met. Skip will be greatly missed!

Thoughts and prayers indeed. Will make beating them this year at Bobcats a little less exciting.

Death sucks.
It said on Espn he died jogging, & he had flown back from Orlando today. I don’t think it’s healthy to physically assert yourself the same day you fly. I wonder if that’s what caused a heart attack?

This is very sad. I had to break the news to a co-worker who is a relative of Justin Gray, then another co-worker who is a WFU grad.

I have always liked Prosser, back to his days with Xavier. About the only time I pulled against him and the Deacs was if they were playing us or one of our conference brethren. Otherwise, probably my favorite ACC team (hopefully it’s okay to admit that!).

It’s going to be odd to look at the visitor’s bench at Bobcats Arena on November 29th and not see Prosser pacing the sidelines.

I didn’t see where anyone had posted this yet, but Skip Prosser (Wake Forest Men’s Basketball Head Coach) passed away today. He collapsed while jogging, at only 56 years old. My prayers go out to his family and the Wake Forest community.

:unhappy:

I thought the same thing. The game will have a very different feel to it now.

Terrible…Terrible news.
